Last Month Josh and I were the photographers for the May Wedding Network USA meeting at the World Trade Center in Seattle.   As members of Wedding Network USA we were only to happy to provide our services for the meeting.

This was a networking meeting and we did a few networking activites so that were able to meet new people ( vendors, etc) that we might not have known previously.  

Besides Josh and I providing photography, the following vendors provided their services also;

I love organizing things, and for the last 2 years I have organized photo shoots at WPPI.  I felt what better then to take that same premise and apply it here in Seattle.  I have met so many wonderful vendors and made so many photographer friends, I felt it was a great combination.   Weeks ago I started planning this event and chose Hotel 1000 as the venue.   Why did I choose Hotel 1000? For a few reasons, Josh just happens to be the Boka Restaurant Manager there, and I have established relationships with the hotel as I have done boudoir shoots there.    More so the venue itself is breathtaking, to me it is everything I want my photography to reflect classy, simple yet unique, elegant yet modern… it truly is a hotel unlike others I have been too.

So I began to gather vendors who wanted to participate and together came a GREAT group of people willing to make this event an success.

I couldn’t have done this without the support from the following:

Friday December 4th I had the pleasure of photographing the Januik Winery Annual Cellar Event. This is annual event where wine club members are invited and can sample wines, enjoy food and music. Music this year was provided by Brian Dale of Wavelink Music inc. Brian is not only my neighbor but an incredibly talented and established DJ here in the Seattle area. His company has won many Best of awards.

I used this opportunity to set up my photobooth. This is something I am now offering my Brides as an add-on to their wedding collections.
There is no end to the fun that the photobooth provides. With a backdrop, props and lighting, guests are welcome to come take photos and be as silly as they want! The point is to have fun. As is the motto with my wedding business ” I want you to be as excited to take your pictures, as you are to see them”. Josh was manning the booth and had a great time interacting with guests as they came in to play around with an array of props such as hats, boa’s and crazy sunglasses.

The photobooth backdrop is a very simple panel of fabric but can be changed out to match specific wedding colors. If you want black with a panel of say blue to match your theme, it can be done! There is no additional charge to change the colors.
